School Dinners

School Meals & Free School Meals Information

This page provides up-to-date information about school meal costs, Free School Meals (FSM), and important changes coming into effect from 2026.

At lunchtime, pupils can either have a school meal provided by our catering company or bring a packed lunch from home. Our catering provider is able to accommodate a range of dietary requirements, including allergies and blended meals where these form part of a pupil's agreed needs.

School Meals

£3.35 per meal

These meals remain subsidised by the school, and we have worked to keep the increase as small as possible.

Dinner money should be paid via School Grid, directly to our catering provider (Dolce).

Dolce offers parents the option to select meals from home; however, we do not use this system. Choosing their meal is an important part of pupils’ daily routine, supporting them in developing decision-making skills, either verbally or through the use of symbols.

Packed Lunches

Parents may choose to provide a packed lunch for their child.

If you choose to send a packed lunch, we ask that it is fully prepared before it arrives at school, as staff are not able to cook or prepare food brought in from home.

Important: We are a nut-free school, therefore packed lunches must not contain any nuts or nut-based products.

Snacks

Snacks sent into school should be healthy and prepared at home, ready for your child to eat. There is also always a fruit option available in school.
