PE and Sport Premium 2026–2027

Springfield School is committed to providing high-quality, inclusive physical education, sport and physical activity opportunities for all pupils, ensuring that activities are adapted to meet their individual needs and abilities.

The PE and Sport Premium supports us in developing accessible sporting opportunities, purchasing specialist equipment and providing professional development for staff to enhance the delivery of PE across the school.

The government has confirmed that the PE and Sport Premium will continue during the 2026–2027 academic year as part of the transition towards the new PE and School Sport Partnerships Network.

Springfield School is awaiting confirmation of its 2026–2027 funding allocation and the associated reporting requirements. Our spending priorities and impact report will be published on this page in accordance with Department for Education guidance.

The 2025–2026 academic year was the final year of the Primary PE and Sport Premium in its previous form. Springfield received funding which contributed towards enhancing our PE and physical activity provision, alongside significant additional investment from the school’s own resources.
