The Governing Body works in partnership with the Executive Headteacher and senior leadership team to provide strategic leadership and oversight of Springfield School.
Governors have three core functions:

Ensuring clarity of the school's vision, ethos and strategic direction

Holding the Executive Headteacher and senior leaders to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils

Overseeing the financial performance of the school and ensuring that public money is well spent

Associate Members
The Governing Body also benefits from the contribution of Springfield's Heads of School, who attend meetings as Associate Members and provide operational and educational leadership information from their respective sites.
