Headteachers Welcome
I am pleased to write these few words on behalf of our governors, staff and pupils. Starting a new school can be daunting, but rest assured we will do everything we can to make your child welcome and to quickly settle into school. Springfield is proud of its high standards and the achievement of all our pupils. We aim to create a safe and positive working environment where all pupils can develop, achieve and be happy.
We want all students ultimately to leave our school with the skills to survive the world, with a degree of support and with confidence, where they can deal with other people, their demands, expectations and achieve independence. We want the five Every Child Matters outcomes for all our students, being healthy, safe, both enjoying and achieving, making a contribution and entering the adult world with the skills to sustain if possible some level of employment.
The best way to find out more about us is to come and see the school at work. We are always pleased to meet parents and prospective pupils. Please telephone the school to make an appointment.
At Springfield 'Every day is a new chance to shine” and we work towards all our children exceeding everyone’s expectation and excelling during their time at Springfield school.
I look forward to working with you.
Lisa Hodgkison
