3LC Travel Training & Rookery Wood visits

5th April 2019
This week 3LC have finished off their Mayan masks and are very proud of their final product. We have made a selection of event, deaths and battle masks, evaluating and modifying our designs each week.
On Wednesday our travel training went well, we are all able to safely board a bus and use our passes independently now, telling the driver where we are going. We are able to identify our destination and indicate to the driver when we wanted to get off. We visited Bru cafe for afternoon snack, ordering our own drinks and food.
We have worked really hard this term and we went to Rookery Wood carvery for lunch on Thursday for our end of term treat. We independently made choices, communicated our preferences and enjoyed dinner socialising with our friends. We even got to visit the ice cream parlour and choose toppings and sauces. Hope you all have a lovely Easter break.
